Has anyone noticed that there seems to be an over-saturation of belligerent, pugnacious women on dating sites? So, I'm on OKCupid and I match with this chick. She mentions that she's a vegetarian, so I send her a message saying that I enjoy greasy, meaty meals and I hope that her dietary restrictions won't interfere with brunch (On my profile, I explicitly advertise that I am seeking a companion for Sunday brunch). On my profile, I also mention that I'm a Social Democrat. This chick then erupts unsolicited with a long essay on what Socialism is, and why Social Democracy is inherently flawed. She also then informs me that she thinks that my occupation (as an independent stock trader) is immoral. And then she tells me that her dietary habits should be none of my business.

This is not an isolated incident. Women nowadays on online dating sites seem to be belligerent and pugnacious by default. It's as if they've watched too much Law and Order: Special Victims' Unit and Brett Kavanaugh hearings, so they just vomit vitriol over the closest thing nearby with testicles. What the f-ck is up with this? Isn't corresponding with another human being supposed to begin on the assumption that the interaction be friendly?

Has anyone else noticed this?
