Which Latin American countries do you associate with Africa and being "Black"?

Soap operas was the first gate in which I give an idea of country´s demographics. For example, I never relate Brasil with África because mostly of their cast aren´t. The argentinians are the same case.

But argentinian soap operas are totally fake comparing to real life.
Not about the main roles, but they show maids and butlers who speak in regular rioplatense accent when in real life almost the whole people who do those works right now are from bordering countries.

In my case, nop; when I was a child I saw a few scenes of argentina telenovelas and I always saw them completely white, but with brazil was because the soccer (Ronaldinho, ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Dida, cafu, robinho, etc)

En los roles principales no hay diferencia con la vida real en general.
Pero como decía, los personajes que representan el personal de limpieza o doméstico hablan en el típico rioplatense del centro del país y eso es cualquier cosa.
Casi toda la gente que desempeña esos trabajos es extranjera.
Y los pocos que no son de las provincias bien alejadas y no hablan como se habla acá.
Por eso hay que ver que no siempre lo que se está recreando puede ser comparado con la vida real.

Something similar past me with Honduras and Ecuador. Some years ago I thought that those nations were of black majority(at least Honduras) for their soccer teams. Most Hondurans players here are black. Also, I have the feeling that some people thing that the case applies in us for our recent national team in soccer.

Also, some Mexican soap operas are remake of Argentinian, Colombian and Venezuelan soap operas.

"Al Diablo Con Los Guapos" is a remake of the Argentinean soap opera "Muneca Brava", "El Triunfo Del Amor" is a remake of the Venezuelan soap opera "Cristal", "La Fea Mas Bella" is a remake of the Colombian soap opera "Betty La Fea", "Llena de Amor" is a remake of the Venezuelan soap opera "Mi Gorda Bella" and so on...

I remember just betty la fea and Al diablo con los guapos, but sincerly, I never liked the soap operas and never saw them, so maybe we had more soap operas, but that were the most reproduced I think...

Personally I am as likely to associate Cuba with Africa as I am Dominican Republic. Especially since there are more fully African looking Cubans than there are Dominicans, even if most Dominicans are clearly African in ancestry.
