Are S. Euros the smartest Europeans?

Not pretending to offend anyone to start with

So, I had seen a study where Italians were showed as the highest IQ people on Europe, so I thought maybe it has to do with genes, also checking S. European society we can easily remember Roman Empire, Iberian navigators and Greek Philosophers. Also my favorite inventor is Nikola Tesla who was much more relevant in the history than Einstein (I don't know if he is considered Southern or Eastern tho)

No such thing as smartest as currently Europeans and New Worlders must be some of the dumbest on the planet.
We are on the course of self destruction and people consider that smart. SO it doesn't exist..... At current rate only illegal immigrant third worlders are smart as they enter Europe without an invitation, they invade, settle and eat up tax money and sit around and do nothing or commit petty crime filling up jails. Whats so smart in that.. they're the ones that are having a party at our expense

I think nowadays N Euros have highest education levels, but S Euros have more potential.

Poland is getting richer than most European countries and there is no immigrantion issues. It is possible to get richer and not being exploited. You just need conservative politicians + religious based society.

South Italians are also pretty smart and creative. Even the Roman Empire dna resemble modern South Italy.
