Default Early Medieval Croatian Counties and I2a1b haplotype

I find it very interesting that the area of the early medieval Croatian counties according to Sumpetar cartulary correspond pretty well to the areas where the I2a1b haplotype reaches its highest frequencies today. In fact, if you overlap these two maps it would fit almost perfectly. What do you think about this? I firmly believe that original Croats were indeed carriers of I2a1b because there would be just too much coincidence.

Yes, it's pretty certain original Croats carried this marker. It's strong presence and diversity in Carpathian Ukraine and southern Poland all point to that.

Yeah. The same haplotype is unusually high in frequency precisely at the territory where White Croats are believed to have dwelled
