My understanding is , Gauls are like a type of Celt or related to Celtic type people and Franks are a type of Germanic people.
On my True ancestry I got as closest ancient populations Gauls,Franks and Celts, I did also get Scythians but not in the top 3 closest , this is most likely because Im half Hungarian half British. I didnt do the paid version so Im not sure if I got Avar also.
Id like to know my full result but paying $38 dollars is robbery.
