He just said Slovak culture and language are not that familiar for him and that he's just a Hungarian (almost impossible to find Hungarian without slavic/german surname(s) in their family tree) because even his Slovak ancestors live in Hungary for centuries. I said many times my ancestors are hungarians and slovaks (including posts where you quoted me), I also said my slovak ancestry isn't from patrilineal line. So one can make the logical conclusion that my patrilineal line is Hungarian, however maybe according to Rethelism it isn't hungarian because they aren't carrying haplo N.

His mother has Slovak ancestry, father is just Hungarian as far as he knows iirc

Everybody born in Historic Hungary was a Hungarian national, since they were born in Hungary. Ethnically they could have been Slovaks, Germans, Jewish, Hungarian, Romanian, Gypsy or mixed, but their nationality is Hungarian in every case. The same applies today: anybody born in Hungary is a Hungarian national, they have Hungarian citizenship, even if their parents, grandparents and so on may have various ethnic roots. Ethnicity and nationality don't always correlate fully. For example in France they don't even consider ethnicity, only nationality counts, while in the United States they consider race.
