You dont seem to like him. By the way I though Bobby was Grab the Gauge and I am almost convinced now judging from the response below, this is typical Grab erudite style.

Your eyes are are blue-green, that is you have minimal melanin in the stroma of your eye, but you also have sporadic concentrations of the fat-based pigment lipochome aswell.

As high-frequency light is scattered in your stroma, some of it is refracted by the yellowish lipochrome and becomes green light. This is because green light is intermediate to Blue and Yellow light on the Visable Spectrum.

As their is only sporadic concentrations of lipochrome in your eyes, much of high-frequency scattered light does not refract much and remains bluish.

Grey eyes are caused by a non-pigment called collogen in the lens of the eyes which prevents high-frequency Tyndall Scattering. However, in eyes with little melanin scattering will still occur. That scattering is known as Mie Scattering.

In Mie Scattering the particles in which the Scattering occurs are of a comparable size to the scattered waves, so elasticity which conserves kinetic energy does not occur. Thus a wider range of frequencies are scattered and the amplitude of the waves are lower. When this happens, the scattered light appears duller, leading to the apperence of grey or greyish eyes.

Judging from your picture, you do not have much collogen in your lenses as your eyes don’t appear greyish.
