My father never did, despite being quite strict. He would command respect just with a stare. My mother, yes. Sometimes with her slipper or some slap here and there. Albeit I don't consider that proper beating, more like shaking the dust off of me.

My grandmother hit me with a sandal once (this is a rite of passage for Spanish kids, I think, haha....I deserved it anyway) but aside from that, no.

I was a pretty well behaved kid, just stayed in my room most of the time and played video games, read books, practiced my instruments, not much has changed actually, don't play much vidya nowadays though.

Not that often, maybe a couple of times in my whole life by my parents. I was beaten a few times by teachers in elementary school. I think that doesnt exist anymore that teachers beat you.

Yup. My parents at times would go full WWE (not literally), but I deserved it. Especially that one moment that I said to my mom "go to Hell" in front of her face.

But in what way? By parents? By peers? Do you mean hard beating with belts or wires or just a slap.
