So 1 of the 8 great-grandparents of Cristiano Ronaldo was born in Cabo Verde.
Assuming she was 100% African, in a very basic estimation, Cristiano Ronaldo would be something like 100% : by 8 = 12,5%.

But it might be the case that this Great-grandmother was not 100% African, which is very likely.

As with some of the players in this thread, people would probably post him on here as Portuguese and would probably say he's exotic and stuff and in the end pass him as an ethnic Portuguese. As I've always suspected, he has African ancestry though:

Many of the players in this thread look mixed so why would anyone be quiet about it when foreigners attempt to pass them as ethnic Portuguese? As Silas, they're probably the second and third-generation of people who mixed while in the colonies and came back to Portugal in 1974-1976.
