Brazilians with Italian surnames: State Main Phenotypes

As I did a thread with Brazilians with mostly Colonial descent I'm doing one with Brazilians with recent Italian ancestry. Not all of these people are fully Italian, most probably aren't actually. They range from 100% Italian to only 10-20% Italian. So I'm not trying to make a case about Italian phenotypes but about Brazilians with Italian surnames. Brazil has the largest Italian diaspora in the world, but only the ones living in inland regions of Southeast and the South are likely only Italian by ancestry (others may be mixed with Colonial Brazilians, Germans, Levantines, recent Iberians and a minority even with Pardos, Mestizos/Amerindians or Blacks).

I'm using fewer actors or politicians and a lot of footballers for these ones compared to my thread about Colonials because in the case of Italian surnames they are most certainly recent and not colonial (with very few exceptions) so I don't need to check genealogy or something like that. Overall most came from middle class or working class. Very few are upper class.

7# Emerson Fittipaldi - likely mostly Italian, I don't know the origin of the surname and I'm too lazy to look it up on cognomix now





8# Paulo Cesar Carpegiani





9# Luizão (Luiz Carlos Bombonato Goulart) - likely Italian + Colonial mix





10# Bellini (Hilderaldo Luiz Bellini) - likely fully Italian like most of these footaballers from the beggining of the 20th century. The captain of Brazil's first World Cup title





11# Felipe Massa - seems to be fully (Southern) Italian





12# Taffarel (Cláudio André Mergen Taffarel) - fully Northeastern Italian or Italian-German mix, I'm not sure about Mergen (could be from Trentino)

14# Renata Fan (Renata Bonfiglio Fan) - Likely mostly Northern Italian

The first one looks very German. Xuxa is a mixture of German-Italian, Portuguese and Polish. The rest look like Italy's usual Central-Southern European mix.

I see more pure Nordic, Alpine and Dinaric influence and less Atlantic compared to Colonials. Do you agree? https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...ain-Phenotypes

Btw, all of them are from the South/Southeast. Most of the ones who are part Colonial or Lebanese are from the Southeast (mostly São Paulo, but also Rio and Minas Gerais) and the ones fully Italian or part German are from the South.

Mostly Mediterranean, Alpine, Dinaric, in that order, with some residual Nordic.

Italian Wikipedia says that Roberto Rivellino's parents are from Macchiagodena in Molise, South Italy.

Jair Messias Bolsonaro is 81.5% Italian (Mostly Tuscan and Venetian and 6.25% Calabrian), 12.5% German and 6.25% Brazilian colonial.

In this thread, compared to the colonials, I see more overlap with Central Europe. The first guy looks German, same as Xuxa (my opinion) and also Tarrafel.

Galeano, Bolsonaro, Possi, Ceni, Fan and possibly Cavalera could also fit reasonably in Germany or other parts of Central Europe imo. On the other hand, I see less Atlantic and KN influence in this set. Almost no Brazilian with Italian surnames looks like Carlos Drummond de Andrade or Bia Arantes, for example.
