    Default Brazilian Surnames on Forebears.

I've tested different surnames in Forebears and I found it very interesting.

It is made by subregion. Just need to change incidence for frequency and voilá

Silva is the most common surname in Portugal

Same can be said for Rossi in Italy

    In Germany it is Müller

    then Haddad for Lebanese people

I also tried Bolsonaro and it is correct, most of his family was from Campinas, Vale do Ribeira and Oeste Paulista region

They are common names here. Ibiapaba and Sobral's region have a lot of specific names. In Fortaleza its possible to notice if a person is from western Ceará because some surnames prevail there like Linhares, Fontenele, Ponte, Fonteles, Aguiar, Portela or Ximenes. The rest of the state have more general brazilian surnames like Oliveira and Cavalcante. And Holanda is almost an specific cearense surname, most of dutch surnames were transformed in Holanda in Ceara. Aguiar, Ponte, Linhares and Ximenes are the names of the family that founder Sobral and moved the civilization towards West, they are mix of Portuguese, Galicians, Dutch, Jewish and Navarrese. Due to efeito fundador, many sobralenses trace their ancestry to that family.

    Assim ta o meu.
Parece que é mais de coloniais do que imigrantes, pela distribuicao.
Porem deve ter dos dois, acho que é o 16 mais comum ou por ai.

Studart is also interesting, because its another colonial non iberian surname of Ibiapaba. Maybe its from Scotland.

From my father's side I got ''Silva'' But my mother's surname has Italian origin, but it has changed for something more Portuguese. I can't find much information about the surname Margaloni.
