100 Most powerful Militaries of all time

Some interesting notes:

1.France is number 1 of all time, with 1115 battles won in it's entire history (from the Frankish Kingdom to the modern days).
2. The United States are in an outstanding position for a country that was created 240 years ago (3rd place with 833 battles won).
3. Spain in a very honorable place (6th).
4. Italy is separated from the Roman Republic/Empire and that makes the Country itself ranking only in 16th with a few more than 100 battles, if Roman victories were included in Italy, Italians would have 391 victorious battles ranking in 6th surprassing Spain but with just 4 more victories than the Iberian country, which is very low given into account that into Spain is only included from the Medieval times.
5.China ranks too low
6.Portugal a small country ranks 21th with 106 victories, which is outstanding for a small country, I think it's the smallest country among the top 25 and on par with Netherlands (but Netherlands is much more densely populated than Portugal) to have more than 100 victories!

That list deceives. Why do they add the victories of the kingdom of England + the victories of Great Britain + the victories of the United kingdom?

Why dont they do the same with Spain?

They added the victories of the Kingdom of Asturias, Castille, Kingdom of Spain, Republic of Spain, Francoist Spain and modern day Spain...

I do find it odd that they link the kingdoms of Asturias, Castile and Leon with Spain but not the Kingdom of Aragon or Catalunya. All these people were referred to as Spaniards in the late Middle Ages regardless if they were from one kingdom or another. It's not like Great Britain/UK where there was always a distinction between Scots and Englishmen. Catalan nationalists referring to people from other parts of Spain as Spaniards to make a distinction is a very late 20th century and early 21st century phenomenon.

Not enough, what about Iberian/Celtiberians victories against Romans? there were a few during 200 years

Civil Wars shouldn't count. This is why the US number is so high. There were hundreds of battles during the American Civil War and good record keeping on those battles whether they were major battles or minor. There were wars across history where minor battles during a conflict may not have been recorded or are so obscure that it wouldn't be found in wikipedia.
