Deadly spiders wiped out 110 million years ago found fossilised underwater with eyes that still glow

Ancient killer spiders have been found fossilised in South Korea with their eyes still glowing.

The arachnids scuttled across Earth’s forest floors more than 100 million years ago and used their reflective peepers for night-time hunting

Less than an inch wide, they were discovered by Korean students and amateur fossil hunter Kye-Soo Nam in Cretaceous-era rock called the Jinju Formation in South Korea.
