My great-grandmother (the mother of my paternal grandma) used to divide people on those living ''przed Pilicą'' -''before the Pilica river'' & ''za Pilicą'' - behind the Pilica river. Her family came from the north/ western side of the river bank. This river actually marks a border between two historical regions: Ziemia Rawska & Ziemia Sandomierska and in the past also used to mark a border between two dialects of Polish language.

    Pilica is in red.

Where is Kresy on this maps?

These Prussian, Silesian regions are not historical and least importance to Poland

^^^ I think in that map they forgot about Land of Drahim (Stare Drawsko), which was part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draheim

"Draheim (German: Starostei Draheim) or Drahim (Polish: Starostwo Drahimskie) was a starostwo (crown territory) of the Polish Kingdom. Pawned to Brandenburg-Prussia in 1657, it was directly incorporated into the Kingdom of Prussia in 1772. (...)"

Approximate borders of Land of Drahim:

^^^ To the south it bordered with Ziemia Wałecka (Land of Wałcz).

Łódzkie voivodeship has unnatural, unhistorical name, it should be named Środkowopolskie od Sieradzko-Łęczyckie. Łódź became a large city during partition and has nothing to do with polish "classical" history.
