Russia won't throw any significant efforts for the Balkans. Russia is only interested in it's neighbouring countries and buffer zones. Russians understand that the rampant Russophilia and Putin-mania in Serbia is because of the massive butthurt that Serbs got from NATO. Serbs are desperate for an alternative, but there is none.
