We are West Asians by geography, as is Georgia. Southern Caucasus is in Asia, but Northern Caucasus is in Europe (ex. Chechnia). Because Armenia and Georgia are Christian countries; they resonate with European culture more than with the culture of the Middle East which is largely Islamic now. It did not always used to be this way. Armenia used to have a border with the Greeks in Anatolia. Armenians would be culturally closest to the civilizations that inhabited Anatolia prior to Turks invading the region and Islamizing these populations. As far as appearances go, I'd say 1/3 look European, 1/3 Middle Eastern, and 1/3 a mixture of the two.
