India might be one of the most diverse genetically, but definitely not the most phenotypically. Surrounding south asian countries like nepal, pakistan have just as much diversity, if not more in terms of phenotype. China, Indonesia, Russia, Afghanistan, and Turkey to an extent are very diverse as well. If we include the new world, especially brazil and mexico, they are way more diverse in comparison to India. I'll exclude north american and western european countries since the diversity is a result of recent migrations.
