Were Pre Turkic Anatolians genetically Souther European or West Asian?
Were the Greek speaking people of Anatolia more West Asian or more Southern European? Would Cyprus be a good model of Anatolia before 1000 A.D.?

A west asiatic peoples mixed with Southern European.
I don't know because I still get Turkish in my top 20 even with their EA admixture. So they can't be far from being Southern European historically. I'm sure it varies however, based on which region you're from. Western Turks probably closer to Greeks whereas Caucases Turks closer to Georgians etc
