Paraguay lost great part of its population during the war of the triple alliance, and it has to be repopulated with many creoles and predominately European mestizos from bordering regions of Argentina and Brazil, and it was also settled by many Europeans (many of them Spanish, besides Italians and Germans). Chile on the other hand, was heavily Spanish mixed since colonial times, and it also received good numbers of Spaniards in its post independence European immigration (besides Germans, British, French, Italians, Croats, etc).
Which one of the two countries has a higher degree of Iberian ancestry (taking into account Spanish and Portuguese in the case of Paraguay)?, and which one out of the two is more Spanish?
