It appears that Hungarians are very central European when it comes to pigmentation of hair and eyes, however still very slightly darker than Slovenians.

I finally found Josef Körösi’s survey of 15,612 German/Austrian, Jewish, Hungarian, and Slavic (with the last being excluded from the final results) schoolchildren in Budapest published 1877.

So, let's see. Basically, 21,45% of adults are blond and the rest vary from lightest brown to darkest brown and black shades.
About 60% of people based on this statistics have blue, grey or green eyes (a potential survey of mine on Hungarian people probably wouldn't differ much). I don't believe 40% are brown-eyed though - the category obviously includes hazel. So, dark and dark-mixed combined at about 40%. Seems in line with what I've seen on this forum.
