I don't remember those times. But genetics tells me that Northern Slavs should be united.
We can also unite with Balts - our close relatives.

By unite I don't mean create one country or something like this.
But there should be more economic and cultural ties.

You are right i can agree with that, but joining of Romania wasw hungarian national interest because 1,5 million hungarian live in Transylvania and they have better chance in EU.

Genetic ties are very important. Exotic unions just don't work in the long run.

I agree with that man, but they aren't most important. I want be surrounded by countries that share both genetic and historical/cultural ties, genetic alone won't cut it.
