Meta-Ethnicity is a term used for a group of people based on X criteria(historical,ethnic,genetic, cultural, linguistic).The only finno-ugric thing about hungarians is their language, that's just a linguistic group and can't form a meta-ethnicity on its own.

r1a and r1b branches can be different. There is slavic r1a and iranic r1a just like german r1b and celtic r1b branch, it's not same. By the way i belive in autosomal genetic, according to it hungarians are very close to austrians, slovaks, czechs, croats and slovenes:
