Plot:
On a long-forgotten derelict graffiti-defaced Columbia Pictures (Sony Corporation of America) film set spooky film actor ghosts (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Rick Moranis, Harold Ramis' "tastefully done" hologram cameo) have gotten loose again. Can our gang assisted by Inspector Pikachu (voiced by Lil Pump) catch them all and drive a Made-in-Japan wooden stake through this undead franchise's heart once and for all before it's too late?

Ghostbusters has one of the greatest scenes of all time. I was so happy when my parents bought me the movie. Along with Karate Kid I watched it so many times that the tape was damaged.

The sequel sucked. I saw that in the movie theater. I was disappointed.

The remake is never to be mentioned in polite company. It was a crime to remake Ghostbusters. I'm hoping the producer was executed with extreme prejudice.

There ought to be an industry law punishable by being permanently blacklisted if a movie exceeds having more than one sequel or if anyone attempts to reboot it. Extended universe kinos are okay but no prequels allowed.

But, shit, I am too naive for this shit. Film industry IS a business and that will never change. Sometimes the auspicious circumstances are that creative filmmakers encounter the right producers or vice versa and somehow it's got enough of a mass appeal it satisfies both nobles and masses alike but that is all the compromise we are ever going to get from the Big Studios, dawg.

Trivia:
The film was shot using 3 iPhones and the editing, mixing, SFX, VFX, and postproduction entirely done in Sony Vegas Pro.

Goofs:
When Inspector Pikachu (Lil Pump) walks into the Oval Office to shake hands with the president and with its tail accidentally pushes a red button that causes all the nukes near the major U.S. cities to self-detonate, triggering the rise of radioactive zombie hordes from the rubble of the cities, a boom mic is clearly visible in the shot.
This was, however, intentional as the director Reitman-Ocasio-Cortez, a wife of nephew's cousin's grandson of the original Ghosbusters movie (1984) director, adds that it was a daring nod to the 1960s French New Wave réalisme cinema.
