Reboots and sequels will always occur because Hollywood repeats the same movies every so often since there's only so many ideas and they have to make money and present these old ideas to new generations. In my lifetime I saw 3 Spiderman actors - Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland

WALL E (2008), likewise, a decent attempt by Hollywood but way too linear, archetypally banal, and not as subtle as the aforementioned Artificial Intelligence (2001). I cried many manly black man tears during both but more during the latter which was more "I know that feeling" relatable.

Which, tbh, made me low-key detest Spielberg because his entire shtick is "emotion exploitation" bordering on voyeuristic tragedy porn (like Schindler's List which I'mma diss later on) AND nigga gets to roll in all that dough he gets for this revolting shameful shit. Lil Pump deserves his hunnids more than Spielberg deserves his because at least Pump doesn't rape my heart like this. Smh.

Ultimately I learned something today.

Reboots/sequels/prequel cashgrabs taking a cynical vile dump on everything pure and sacred are like raisins in yo muesli cereal. I mean they're there but no one expects you to actually eat that shit, right, you just nonchalantly pluck them motherfuckers out of your bowl and the day goes on as usual. You never go "g*sh d*rn it, getting severely vexed over this is VERY worth my time," you just shrug your shoulders because any other reaction is not worth your time, dawg.

No one's holding a gun to our head to watch these abominations in theatres. I've not been to a cinema since '08. It's a dying industry, too late for it to go with any dignity at this point and there's no use in asking it to.

I didn't even exist when Dumbo was first shown in theatres and I liked it better than the shit they were peddling for kids at the time like Mouse Detective, An American Tail or All Dogs Go to Heaven or that one movie about some fat, bucktooth troll that got lost in Central Park, just show your kids the movies you liked as a kid if you've got them.
