The similarities between Baltic and Slavic is because of "inter-lingual" period between Turkic R1a Z280 and Kurdo-Slavic I2a on the border of Pripyat marshes. I can't explaim it otherwise, because I2a is very weak among Balts.

Not entirely right, but near to it! Baltic states are a mix of Ugric N and proto-Slavized R1a. The meaning of "proto-Slavized R1a" is explained in this professional Turan-Slovenian video:
