I thought it was already quite certain that the origin for haplogroup R1 was South Asia or its western neighbouring areas, so what is so ground breaking about this?

R is from P1 which has been found in 30 thousand year old yana ANS samples, but yeah sure it’s from ‘south east asia’ somewhere keep telling yourselves that lol
