There is a very distinctive Neapolitan look that I've always found very easy to recognize - a long time before learning anything about physical anthropology. I don't find it in these pictures - but of course, not all Neapolitans look like the faces I have in mind. Later - now I'm at work - I'll post some pictures to exemplify this.

I also think that a Neapolitan distinctive look exists.

    Something between this...

    ... and this

Long faced, long nosed and with a strongish jaw. I'm not saying that all Neapolitans look like that, but when I see someone who looks like that I immediately guess it's Neapolitan.

Ahahahah ok, but in your error, you're right.

Neapolitan surnames like Diaz, Estanioli, Aragonese, Cantabriani, Santander, Rodrighi, Mondragone, Altavilla, Borbonese, Alcantara, etc are undoubtely of iberian origin

There are no doubt, are Spanish, the funny thing is that I am from Cantabria and I've never heard that surname (Cantabriani) but I guess like "Santander" is a classic surname based on the place name.

I think that is a typical southerner surname given to people with non-italian origin (same thing for surnames like Albanese, Greco, etc etc).

What's the meaning of this thread? Naples is only a city, not a country.
It would have been better if you had written People of Campania.
