Mendel was wrong. There has been such cases where the child of to light Eyed parents has gotten brown Eyes.

And in my case I'm light hazeled (like very large portions of the eyes are green) whereas my two parents have brown eyes. So yes mendelian genetics today... whereas we know that these SNP that influence your phenotype are "randomly" inherited (atleast to our actual comprehension).

I don't know but both my sides have or had light eyes individuals. So I likely carry light alleles.

These genes weren't strong enough to make be proper full light eyed but they are still predominant lol:

    Spoiler!

Not all families but the majority yes indeed.

You are A;G, like my sister and my mother = Hazel eyes.
Yeah I think. In my italian side there are blue eyed people, green in good amount. My first degree cousin (who has 10 years) for instance is blue-eyed and red-haired, though he's also 25% piedmontese and 25% sicilian. I have also another more distant cousin (6 years old) that he's also blue eyed and red-haired (she looks like a dutch kid lol).

On my french side they have normal level of lightness for these parts of France (here blondism and light eyes are really present).

So yes A;G with the blue part had a lot more impact that the brown one since I'm very light hazel. One thing interesting is that my eyes appear always as pred. green, almost never brown.
