You are aware of the fact that the Chinese certainly did invade other countries ? From India, to Mongolia, to Korea, to Tawan (which was never Chinese until the 17th century), Vietnam, Laos, and the entire West of China which isn't ethnic Chinese. They have an imperialist history of their own.

Most of those were border skirmishes. I believe Vietnam and Korea being the exceptions. The Korean ordeal was because they did not want an American puppet on their border which happened anyways.

When you invade other countries to take over their lands, it's imperialism. Deal with it. And no, I am not talking about modern Korea but much further back in history. Burma and the lands in Central Asia have also been subjected to Chinese invasions.
