But I would like to see who requests this kind of abortion, what kind of people and why. Are there statistics?

No, jail time for women who opt for it and death penalty for doctor who preform it. You know doctors actually swear Hippocratic Oath to uphold ethic and moral standards of our society and protect human life.

No except if mother's life is in serious danger with important complications... for other situations, the legitimacy of late term abortion is absolutely questionable from a moral point of view and quite barbaric... without mentioning that it's NOT an harmless operation and the risks are real for the mother too, especially at a later term...

No it was legalized just a few months ago, and outside of New york I know no place where its legalized that late.

It doesnt sets the limit at 6 months it expands to 6 months up to birth.

I think Finland's laws is just fine .... abortion is possible until week 12.

After that it can be done only via special process ... making application and getting license for it .... by then there needs be crime behind of pregnancy or mothers/fathers physical condition simply will not allow to care about baby.

And like almost every kind of statistics ... the situation is pretty good in Finland vs whole Europe.

Late term is a very advanced stage, only for exceptions like that 11 yo rape victim in Argentina. She is now the mother of a baby but not ready for it at all and had a very difficult delivery being not developed herself.

It is actually quite tragi-comic that EU sets up norms like how cucumber etc. should be (dimensions), but nothing what comes to abortions. If we have any so called Europeans values, that if any should include those (fixed same everywhere). But in reality Europe is very diversed ....and has not much common.
