Another reason why I love dogs. A very beautiful short video. It must be a very nice feeling to be able to find missing people and help them to return home safely, even though search & rescue volunteers and their highly-trained sniffer dogs get woken from their sleep and called out at all hours and in all weather conditions. It must also be very emotionally sad whenever dead and murdered victims of crimes and abducted and dead children are found by the cadaver dogs and blood scent dogs on Search & Rescue missions.



Criminals and burglars don't like dogs though...

Ahhh... extremely sad. Luckily there's people with a kind and caring heart who help to rescue abandoned and mistreated dogs.

Not always... I think this poor cat is traumatised. It's like humans have different temperaments and a variety of feelings... depending on how they're raised, experiences, and if they're feeling happy or angry.



(Dogs are also friendly and gentle if they don't feel threatened or attacked and if their territory isn't invaded, and if they're treated decently.) It's important to understand their personal space, body language (both your own body language and the body language of dogs,) human eye contact threats to dogs, the correct way to approach dogs ... and cats, etc.

If you let children play unsupervised and be rough with animals, then the dog will think it's ok to play rough... and if children hurt them or pull their tails, the dog (or cat for that matter) will naturally react defensively by scratching or biting. It's the irresponsible childrens parents and owners fault.

Cats are also defensive of their territory... and they start hissing, and hunching their backs and twitching their tails. A dog wags its tail when its happy and keeps it still when angry. The ears go back on cats when they're feeling distressed and threatened. It annoys me how people can stand and record cats fighting with each other for their entertainment.... instead of trying to calm them down and caring to step-in to stop and prevent them from seriously injuring each other. I've seen some poor cats with missing eyes and torn ears as a result of fighting with other cats.
