She is most likely the result of multigenerational mixing. 'Indians' in the U.S. usually marry within their own groups and sometimes go for white middle class girls.

Many South Asians told me she can easily blend in Northern India/Pakistan like Punjab (both Pak and India), Delhi, Sindh, Rajasthan, Gujarat. The most Southern and Eastern place in South Asia she can pass is Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Also, Shah Jehan who is originally from Bangladesh also told she would pass easily there.
