    Mariana Pineda.

Mariana de Pineda y Muñoz, generally known as Mariana Pineda, (1 September 1804 in Granada – 26 May 1831 in Granada) was a Spanish liberalist heroine.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marian...eda_Mu%C3%B1oz

Mariana is well known in the Andalusian collective imagination. His death, executed by garrote vil at a very young age, helps to mythify his figure.

The story in Granada is well known: it was denounced for having embroidered on a flag the legend "Law, Freedom, Equality" and accused of belonging to a liberal conspiracy. After refusing to inform her collaborators, she was imprisoned and executed, in front of the protests of the entire population, which adored her, as she still does today.

Mariana Pineda is a play by the Spanish playwright and poet Federico García Lorca. It is based on the life of Mariana de Pineda Muñoz, whose opposition to Fernando VII had become part of the folklore of Granada.

    "Batalla De La Puente"

On October 19 and 20, the recreation of the “Battle of the Bridge” is celebrated in the Montejaque village, in the Sierra de Grazalema in Cádiz, in which 200 villagers were victorious in front of some 700 French soldiers.

They are full ethnic Spanish from Andalusia (half Catalan, half Andalusian). And regardless superficial impressions of them looking Danish, they have Spanish faces.

Then I guess Spanish can easily pass off as Danes even more. It's due to the hair color they don't pass 100% as Danes
