Christians should be free to study anything they want as long as they are guided by the Holy Magisterium.

I have two Christians who studied other religions and got enriched from certain elements taken from those and also, reverse engineered their wisdom against enemy faiths.

Pope Sylvester who applied the Hindu-Arabic numeral system across the whole Christendom even when he was accused of witchcraft.
And Blessed Ramon Llull who simultaneously studied Arabic and Latin Metaphysics and used his prowess to contend with the Sultan of Tripoli.

But you must be grounded in your faith first before you fight the enemy in their own game.

Yeah I generally agree with you that Kaballah is occultic but sometimes you have to study and understand the enemy in order to destroy him.

I'm sure a lot of Exorcists study about demonology but they obviously are enemies of demons.

Well, there is studying and then studying. Should we learn about it? I think so. But to study and incorporate it into our faith? No. Kabbalah, and I have studied it, is as Loki said, Satanic.

I have studied Kabbalah too and I condemn it not because I find it generally Satanic which I also agree with that notion, but mostly due to the fact that its mystical gnostic world system fails to pass the scholastic standards of my Aristotelian-Thomistic Philosophical training in the Monastery. I'm currently studying Sufism and Zen Buddhism and quite frankly these other types of mystic schools of thought have more of a fight to my Aristotolian-Thomistic paradigm than Kabbalah. Only, uneducated and illogical people fall to the type of crap Kabbalah peddles, although there are a lot of high profile people who were fooled by Kabbalists like Madonna who once dabbled in it but thank God returned to Christianity (Through devotion to the Sacred Heart) but unfortunately they fooled another celebrity, Araiana Grande, for example, has fallen for all the Kabbalah crap.

Lol. Kabbalists have that seduction, that they offer secret mystical knowledge that other mortals can't access. It's the same Gnostic heresies Saint Paul condemned in the New Testament. And that secret knowledge mumbo jumbo is also what hooks other celebrities like Tom Cruise in the Scientology non-sense. Look, if your knowledge or mystical revelations are so wonderful and profound wouldn't it be better to make it public so that everyone can benefit? I find that people who peddle this secret knowledge garbage only apply secrecy to their "sacred wisdom" because they couldn't stand the light of public criticism.
