    Old Serbia = Rashka and Kosovo. So I'd say these two regions, but Rashka was more of a core region than Kosovo since that's where Serb statehood began and where their capital is. They were even named Rascians by foreigners cause of how important Rashka was. The other regions you listed are important too of course.

    I'm looking at this from the perspective of our earliest known history. Zahumlje, Raška and Duklja were the core territories where the first Serbian medieval dynasties had their seat of power. Kosovo only became important after being incorporated into our state during the rule of the first Nemanjići.

    Montenegro, Raška, east Herzegovina. Parts of south Dalmatia were also Serb inhabited during early periods but I wouldn't call it part of the "core".
