Rashka was part of early Serbian ethnos since the very beginning when they settled in the Balkans, which was aproximately around year 600-700 AD . This wasn't the case for Kosovo or many of those areas listed.

However , Serbs , I believe also inhabited and held other parts early on such as parts of modern Serbia.

Kosovo is debatable and depends from what angle you're looking from. It certainly became a lot more important after the battle of Kosovo and the surrounding legends that originated from that entire time period, so in that sense it is a core part in terms of modern identity. Aside from that, I would definitely say that Raška together with Herzegovina and Duklja (mainly the "old herzegovina" region from these two parts) are the most central lands when it comes to Serb origin.

Belgrade, it might be said, is situated to the north northeast of the Serbian core.

Where stands Zagreb in relation to the equivalent Croatian core?

Bosnia, Herzegovina, South Dalmatia, Raška and Duklja are the first serbian lands acording to historical sources, so i am very suprised that Kosovo has more votes than South Dalmatia and Bosnia.

I don't see Serbia in south Dalmatia but small Slavic principalities. It's indicative how there is no any kind of Serbian historical heritage there compared to Macedonia which is full of it in comparison.

Basically that. Serbia is modern nation, roughly 200 years of statehood but as the map suggests its one of the older nations in Balkans.
