Again, 85% (not 90%, apologies) of the aid must be spent in the United States, and the American government as per the deal has a say in any weapons deals Israel makes not through them. The aid is 1% of our GDP. Most Israelis would rather it be stopped.
That's the whole problem when it comes to playing musical chairs (funny how it's also called "the Trip to Jerusalem"), when you get up, your chair might get taken but the seat that belongs to someone sitting there in the area doesn't belong to you either.

I'd personally think that it would be a very good idea to stop any future aid and to ban Israeli lobby groups from operating in both Europe and the U.S. If there is to be a strategic partnership of any sort, than that partnership would be a partnership of equals, not a group of countries, serving the needs of one.

I also think Israel has done a lot of dodgy shit, I've never denied this. Only that we either somehow rule the world or that we are all despicable horned devil's who stab Palestinian babies day and night.
Yes, I believe there is certainly an element of truth to the conspiracy regarding zionism, but people take it way out of proportion. I sympathize with Palestinians but many are radical and unreasonable, not neccessarily the ones living in the West though.

The thing is, though, that Israel and the Jewish influencers in general, make it so difficult for people to like them and to want to have anything to do with them. Had they played their cards right and not tried to fuck us all over, than maybe they would have been in NATO, maybe the EFTA or EU and nobody would have looked twice. Let's not forget that they are in the EBU.. Many Leftist Jews make sure that they and Israel as well, are now seen as an enemy of us all, not as potential partner - even an ally.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Israel is a terrible ally. We give them billions of dollars every year and our politicians have to swear loyalty to them to get elected. They wouldn't be able to maintain their state if we didn't prop them up their entire history, but they give us nothing in return. I say cut all ties with them.

What could have been the best ally, became the worst ally. It's funny how things go, isn't it ? I say we should drop them like a hot stone.

Jews didn't get up, we were pushed off the chair.

But you're no longer on the chair and others took that chair and it's not like you went up there like "Pardon.. but I used to sit here", instead you pushed him off, beat him into coma and then took the chair.

Not proud of it, nor has it been enjoyable. But he wouldn't have shared even a sliver of the chair. Not one sliver even if we had asked nicely. Regardless, whoever threw the first punch (this is not something that we know, fyi) is irrelevant. We got the chair and even when given the opportunity to share the chair, he has refused. Understandably so - the entire chair belonged to him once and now he is offered 1/3rd or so. But he has refused nonetheless.
