Do more Euro influenced Latinos view Mestizos as their people? I am curious because it seems like their is division among Latinos kind of similar how Northern and Southern Italians see each other as different. However, I assume most Mexicans are culturally similar they just have a large range of looks.

I am not a fan of division politics and I think it is a bit silly for people of a shared country and culture to look at some of their population as much different.

I think they view them as their people but I'm not sure... at least the ones I know do.

Dunno.. Some of the "white" latinos where I live may be more apt to claim their mixed people to seem more exotic. It might be a different dynamic in the actual latin country.

I mean they're the same nationality, but not the same ethnicity. It's like asking you if Shaq o'neal is one of "your people"; same nationality sure, same ethnicity? No.

They both have Native and European blood. Just different ratios.

Black Americans also have European blood, like Anglos. Many Mexicans are 100% Iberian btw, or close enough to it. Both Mexico and the USA are new world nations and don't constitute ethnicity's IMO, more so there are various different ethnicity's within Mexico that make up the national composition as a whole.

New World people are interesting I wonder how many percentage wise have Native blood from North and South America.

It's totally different and impossible to compare Latín America to USA/Canada..
While in USA the bulk of the population don't have any % of NA in their blood, imagine that in Latin América people who don't score nothing are a minority everywhere.
Keep in mind that Uruguay and Argentina are the most pred Euro countries in Latin América (Brazil and Cuba follow them) and people who score 99/100% Euro in the DNA are around 35% in Uruguay and 20% in Argentina.
What is curious is that in both countries the bulk of the population score +85 to 98% Euro, and if we add them with the first group it could be around 70% of the population in Uruguay and 55% in Argentina.
But I repeat, in terms of fullly Euro ADN it's impossible to compare with the USA or Canada.
Following there are some barplots which show the % of Euro DNA in the different latinamerican countries.
