    That's just Roman province of Panonnia. I had entire Panonnian Basin in mind which forms one geographical unit.
    Basin was named after Roman Province in it's western part but not all of modern Panonnian Basin was part of Province of Panonnia.

    We're going into details too much anyway. Point is that this region of Europe is better than Dalmatia in pretty much everything except climate.

    Culturally south-western European, Dalmatia gives more Western vibe than Zagreb.
    Also people look more Atlantid. Dalmatia is only place in the south slavic world where people look good and somehow aproach western euro standards, which means they actually have bones in the face. South slavs are largelly slack-jawed subhumans.

    Proper Dinarid has strong jaw actually and Pontid is very proportional and good looking phenotype.
