Why Costa Rica is so different of its neighbors?

Why so many europeans went to there compared with Panama, Guatemala and Nicaragua? Why white central americans are concentrated there? Are they only or almost only of spanish stock like Colombia or more pan european like Paraguay?

Almost every other country of Central America have small white minorities(below 10%). Its strange Costa Rica have a big white minority(35%/40%).

In Central Valley it probably can reach 40-45%.
For Costa Rica as whole, maybe 35% makes more sense.

30-35% seems reasonable but still have my doubts most people who ordered ancestral DNA test from Latin America are middle/high class.

The only ones are super accurate are mexican Dominan and Puerto Rican "working class origin " from U.S
