Default Light eyes map of Croatia

These are the final results of my personal several month long study on eye color in Croatia I did on matura.hr. Due to the limited quality I had to only divide eyes into "light" and "dark". Light includes blue and gray/green. Dark green, yellowish green and hazel eyes were not included.

I did not take ethnicity into account, so the sample almost certainly includes many ethnic minorities like Serbs and Italians.

Overall cities and towns counted: 78

    Overall sample size is 24.695

That's pretty cool. I would have thought that Slavonia would score higher. Scientifically disproven

Very nicely done, you really took your time. Would love to see this done for other European countries as well.

A suggestion; maybe it would also be great if you could addtionaly make a chart/scale with some examples of which colours you considered as light and which as dark. Because sometimes when I observe I find it hard to categorize the various shades of color and would appreciate your input regarding this.

Interesting how the locations with the most southern shifted ethnic Croat samples we've seen, such as Metković and Zadar are also the ones with a predominantly dark eye color.

I thought Krapina county would be lighter compared to Virovitica, Bjelovar and Brod county. Vukovar county is also surprisingly dark, while Dubrovnik light.
