Screaming Lord Sutch (10 November 1940 – 16 June 1999), also known as 3rd Earl of Harrow,
was an English musician and serial parliamentary candidate.

He was the founder of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party (a UK political party)
and served as its leader from 1983 to 1999,
during which time he stood in numerous parliamentary elections.

As a singer he variously worked with Keith Moon, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page,
Ritchie Blackmore, Charlie Watts and Nicky Hopkins.

Starting in 1963, David Sutch, head of Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages,
stood in British parliamentary elections under a range of party names,
mainly as the National Teenage Party candidate.

Screaming Lord Sutch committed suicide on 16 June 1999
while suffering from clinical depression after his mother, Annie, died in 1998.

Sutch's death drew tributes from across the political spectrum.
