Have you been loved?

From my perspective I've been loved:
1) unconditionally - by my parents and grandparents,
2) conditionally - by one man, but it's history now.

If you do not count relatives (it is believed that they should love you by default), then I was loved by three girls — my wife and two girls before her. I do not take into account the simple sympathy from unfamiliar women, I still face it.
I have never been loved for material goods, because the pursuit of big money does not interest me, and my style is modest.

Well, as someone who has been in regularly long relationships, it’s weird for me to consider if I’ve been loved by those people. Anyone can claim to love you, but if they’re not committed to a lifestyle of wanting to be with you, then have they really loved you?

I’ve been in three serious relationships. The first one still has a letter I wrote when I was a teen. I hope he throws it away one day, if he already hasn’t. The second has mailed me love letters, but I told him to stop because I don’t feel the same, and it’s inappropriate. The third, I’m still with him.

With him, I have been loved. This is my one love. Everyone else’s “love” pales in comparison.
