Who were the Early European Farmers or EEF's?

Can someone please explain to me on who were the early European farmers? Also, were they the ones who domesticated the Aurochs which became the domestic cattle? Thanks.

That seems like a good source. I think one thing that hey may have overlooked is that farmers tamed the Auroch. It was a dangerous, difficult task that took many lives. This is why males still test their courage by facing the bull. We may think of bull fighting/jumping as barbaric, (I'm not saying it isn't) but it comes from a time when taming them was a risk of life and death.
