I hope not. I think that the future of Germany lies in a confederal model like Switzerland. In the Greater German solution would Austria, Germany, Flanders and the Netherlands be united in a confederation. Our problem has always been in those who took power for their own sake and who moved that power from city and countryside to a far-away "Eden" they set up for their own pleasure. Be it the gentlemen in The Hague, the Prussians, the Saxons, the Weimar Regime, the Hitler Regime, the GDR, the BRD... all the same shit. The true power must lie in the people.

I support direct democracy too, the German people in polls act more conservative than in the way they participate in general elections. They still think CDU is conservative.

The whole crop of parties as they exist today: I want them all gone and it's time to rewrite the whole rule book. I wonder why they vote more left-wing than they act in the polls but this needs to be studied so a new, consistent, system can be set up.
