Default What was your reaction to the documentary, Grizzly Man?

I found it incredibly moving (one of the few documentaries to make me cry)*

*The subject's death (or manner of) is not what moved me (rather, it was the subject himself (and in particular, the sub aspect of Subject and wild fox)

If you see a post in red font made by my username, that means that it is Pompey's post, not mine.

I haven't watched it yet, I'll watch it come back and say my reaction.

I thought the guy was an idiot and a fool. There are many people who loved animals and who gave them respect and did not get themselves killed. This guy was basically trying to be the American Steve Irwin.

His death is not the heart of the documentary's matter at all. It is merely coincidental. The subject's life (specifically his psyche), not his death, is what the film is about.

I am aware of that. He was a moron who treated the bears like they were his pets.
