It is by default impossible. They are one ethnic group with totally arbitrary (tribal/religious) borders separating them. Overall, West-South-Slavs become gradually lighter from SE to NW. Also, Slavic element increases from Adriatic coast (where it is very weak) to Danube & Drava. Pre-Slavic element (Illyrian) is dominant everywhere. Overall, the population is very homogenous (much more so than Romanians), with well defined typologies.

I'm from Vardarska and I'm very light. So that theory of Vardarskaers being typically darker than Croats is simply untrue. Monolith is pretty swarthy but he doesn't look out of place in Hrvatska.

wut? During the summer months maybe. I tan easily.

Also, the argument that West South Slavs are homogeneous is simply bullshit. In my country, there's a rather sharp transition from Baltid, Nordoid and Alpinoid region (North-Central) to Dinaroid and Mediterranoid region (South-Southeast), with only Slavonia (East-Central) being somewhere in between.

But I agree with Guapo. It's impossible to tell who's who in this case.

But, for entertainment purposes, I'd say numbers 1, 3, 7, 8 strike me as Serbian. Number 6 looks really weird.
