When I was your age, I remember being very, very lonely. It did not feel good. But I was okay, I think that lonely period was a great time of introspection and learning for me.

I am most definitely an introvert. Chronically socially isolated sounds kinda negative but I'm not sure that it is? I guess if it is to the point of dysfunction (and you are not happy) than it would be something to work on.
