They spoke a celtic language, which technically makes them indo-european

Moreover, the Cimbri in Jutland were Celtic:

The Cimbri & Lugii likely converted to Celtic speaking if they ever did, but originally it is highly likely that both groups were germanic

Plus this map is in pre Roman times, that map is 1-2 centuries ad. Also mathair isn’t a Celtic god, it’s the irish word for mother, in gaulish that would be matir, & there is no Celtic language where m- -> h-. NONE. Also also, many Germanic peoples were heavily influenced by the Celts in material culture do to their superior metal working. Basically, some of the Lugii may have been celts, but most were likely Germans (vandals, probably)
