    Between 1.95 and 2.00 are considered very tall;

    Between 1.85 and 1.90 are considered tall (with different variables like 1.86/87/88/89);

    Between 1,81 and 1,84, are considered medium tall (with different variables);

    Between 1.75 and 1.80 medium height (75 being the smaller trend, and 80 the larger trend).

    But you should know that the difference is sometimes not very important depending on the case, especially because of the shoes.

    For an individual of 1.77, a 1.83 man will appear taller, but not so big, so the difference will not be extremely important. And here, we assume that people do not have shoes.

    We must also take into account millimeters, so that an individual who is 1.78.9 (millimeter) could more or less reach a size of 1.81 with 2cm shoes.

    Romanians are well above European/World average.
    An average of 176 cm for men and 162 cm for women for the whole 18-65 yo range is very high.

    People quote higher averages only for young age groups.
    It's very important when you compare populations to use comparable samples. Comparing 18-24 yo range with 18-65 yo range is stupid.

    A measured (not self-reported) height of 176 cm male / 162 cm female is right at the top for the 18-65 age range, for all the available data I could find.
    If anyone has more data for this age range, I'd be happy to see it, but this is what is available on the Wikipedia list:

    See the attachment below for the study reporting the average population height in Romania, for the same age range (18-65).
